These are non-negotiable rules from Jeffrey's meeting. Every decision should pass through these filters.
Never flood readers. Send a maximum of 1–2 books per reader at a time. Process feedback before sending more.
Every piece of reader feedback gets validated by AI. No unreviewed human feedback goes directly into revisions.
Valid feedback triggers a rubric update. The rubric must catch the issue next time. Then re-run queued books before sending them out.
No book goes to a reader until it passes the latest rubric version. Period.
The end-state: books return from readers with zero major plot holes, structural issues, or gaps.
Catch every mistake on Prism books first. Perfect the system before applying it to paying clients.
Complete catalog with current status. The Grown Man Standard has been removed — it is Will Brown's client book, tracked separately under VersAssist.

Structured reader assignment, feedback collection, AI validation, and rubric improvement loop. This is the engine that makes every book better.
Readers must provide structured feedback covering all 8 categories. Each issue must be classified as MAJOR, MINOR, or SUGGESTION.
1–10 scale. Did the story hold attention? Was the premise compelling? Would you recommend it?
Events contradicting earlier events. Setups never paid off. Resolutions without setup.
Does the beginning hook? Does the middle sag? Does the ending satisfy? Any chapters out of order?
Consistent behavior and voice? Motivations make sense? Characters that disappear? Arcs resolve?
Anything that required re-reading. Sections where you lost track. Unexplained jargon or references.
1–10 scale. Too slow anywhere? Too fast? Sections that dragged? With specific chapter references.
Favorite part. Least favorite part. If you could change one thing, what would it be?
MAJOR — Plot/structure/logic break. MINOR — Preference/style. SUGGESTION — Nice-to-have.
The rubric is a living document. It gets better every time a human reader finds something it missed. The goal: books return from readers with zero major issues.
Run every manuscript through the current rubric before it goes to a human reader. Must score 7.5+ with zero P0 issues to pass.
After reader feedback, AI validates each issue. If the rubric missed something valid, update it. Re-run queued books through the new version.
